About us

Our goal is to create a clinic where people feel safe in a professional and cozy setting.
In the first meeting, we emphasize getting a detailed description of the problem through a dialogue with you as a patient.

I was born in 1978 and live in Kundby with my husband and two children (born in 2005 and 2009). I have been an active handball player at divisional level for many years.

I was trained as a physiotherapist in 2003, and subsequently got work at a private clinic, as it was the manual treatment that I was most interested in. But in my treatment I encountered many unanswered questions. I needed more tools in my treatment, and in 2006 I started studying at the Belgian School of Osteopathy. Here I gained a more holistic perspective on the treatment of the human body, and was confirmed that the problem can originate in a completely different place than where the symptom has appeared.

I graduated as an osteopath in 2012, where I wrote a thesis on babies with reflux problems.

In the period 2001-2011 I worked as a physiotherapist at the Clinic for Physiotherapy v/Tomas Hviid in Svebølle.

In the period 2011-2015 I was a therapist in Manuel Medicinsk Klinik v. Michael Cohrt. Before my employment, I received lessons from Michael Cohrt.

2015-2022 I was co-owner of Min Osteopat and worked in Min Osteopat Kalundborg.
Since June 2022, I am now the owner of Kalundborg Osteopathy, where I treat both babies, children and adults on a daily basis.

In 2017 and 2018, I took a series of courses for trained osteopaths regarding manual treatment of patients with fertility problems, patients with pregnancy-related genes, newborns/babies and the child's motor development - how it is promoted and what you as an osteopath must be aware of when examining a baby or a child. If there are certain movements the child is challenged with (e.g. neck, back or extremities), they must be helped if necessary. with manual treatment or exercises so that it is able to do this and follow its motor development.

In April 2023, I completed a two-year diploma in pediatric osteopathy.

I strive to constantly update my education with exciting courses and continuing education.

I look forward to welcoming you to the clinic.

A classic vintage 1990, with a penchant for devouring books!

Born and raised in West Zealand, in the area around Kalundborg.

As a child/youth, I have always participated in various sports, but only found my physical passion when I was introduced to Jiu-Jitsu. I have always been passionate about how the body moves, and in adulthood I found a way to combine my two great passions. The human body and an infinite opportunity for learning.

I graduated as a physiotherapist in January 2017, and went straight to work on the specialty in sports physiotherapy and was examined as a sports physiotherapist in 2019. I have subsequently taken the basic training in ultrasound scanning, courses in focused shockwave therapy and several specialist courses in shoulder treatment and assessment.

Throughout this journey I have felt like I was walking around a forest without taking a bird's eye view of it all. I missed something that on the one hand gave a holistic overview, but at the same time gave me an insight into the small details that I could feel were being overlooked in my profession.
In 2019, I started studying for a Master of Science (MSc) in Osteopathy, and feel here that I have found what was missing. I have gone from a deep lake of possibilities and knowledge, to a sea of infinite depths and potential to help people maintain their joy in life, and not just solve the problem right in front of our noses.

My experiences are very much tied to athletes and sportsmen, but all everyday problems fall into my interest.

I was born in 1989 and live with my family in Holme-Olstrup.

I have always found great joy in moving and have for many years both practiced and taught gymnastics. The last few years it has been a parent-child team with, first my daughter aged 4 and now also my son aged 2.

I was trained as a physiotherapist in 2016 from University College Zealand and, apart from a single year in Roskilde municipality, I have worked at a clinic in the Køge area.

In 2019 I started studying Master of Science in osteopathy at IAO – International Academy of Osteopathy. It has taught me to see the body as an integrated whole and it has given me a wide range of tools I can use to bring my patients to a better starting point for movement and health.
